Attention B and C Automotive Technicians!!! Our business is booming here at Garvey Hyundai and we need qualified technicians. These are full-time, permanent positions. They are not temporary "fill-in" positions due to current conditions. We will consider automotive technicians of all skill levels, but you must have your own tools and possess a valid driver's license. A NYS inspectors license is a plus!

We are also specifically looking for B & C Level Technicians.

Garvey Hyundai of Plattsburgh is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced, motivated Service Advisor to join our high-performing, customer-focused service department. Position Overview:

As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and service technicians. You will be responsible for building relationships, recommending services, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience from check-in to vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers promptly and professionally
• Accurately document vehicle concerns and service needs
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle condition
• Prepare estimates and explain services clearly and confidently
• Communicate effectively with technicians and parts department
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
• Ensure timely follow-up and high levels of customer satisfaction
• Handle warranty and service documentation accurately

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of automotive service experience (dealership experience preferred)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask under pressure
• Proficiency with Windows PC and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license (must be able to drive a manual transmission)
• Reliable transportation
• Available references
• Positive work ethic and team-player mindset
• Must be available to work Saturdays (5 day work week)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Service Advisor/Writer experience
• Strong technical and computer skills
